I signed up for their unlimited broadband service. The online deal was $69.99 off the modem and the a $50 rebate by mail making the modem free in the end. There was nothing in the email order confirmation that I received or in the box with the modem. After 30 days and nothing in the mail, I went to the web site only to find out that I had to go online and print a rebate form and mail to them WITHIN 30 days of the order to receive my $50. I emailed their customer service about it and never received a response. I didn't prepay the second month right away and they cancelled the account and disconnected the phone attached to the modem.
Their customer service sucks and the download speeds were horrible. It took about 20 minutes to download and watch a 5 minute video on YouTube. With speeds like that and the number of times that my connection was dropped and had to reconnect, I don't think that $42/month (with the taxes) is really all that great of a deal.
I'm not a big fan of Comcast, but I would rather get their high speed internet than ever use Cricket again. I definitely do not recommend their services.
